Many people have never met a person with spina bifida. An understanding of spina bifida and the characteristics of spina bifida can be of assistance to people who will be living and working with someone with spina bifida. This Toolbox has been designed for parents, educational staff and the general community to assist in increasing their understanding of spina bifida and to raise awareness of the needs and abilities of people with spina bifida. With the right support, people with spina bifida can and do achieve whatever they wish.
